The Alamar Knot

Products include detailed Western and wildlife scenes burned into leather. Specializes in unique custom orders. The Alamar Knot’s motto is “Burning the West on Leather.”

These pieces are created using a hand-held electric wood burner. By a careful combination of heat, pressure and movement, each piece is a free-hand original work. The leather is constantly changing during the burning process, so each piece will be different from the next. Once the burning is completed, a variety of framing ideas are used to create that special look; from old barbed-wire, barn wood frames, horseshoes, old bits and used rope. They also customize leather burnings for that one-of-a-kind gift.
