Severns Studio & Fossil Quarry is located six miles west of Kemmerer, Wyoming on Highway 30 (Turn south on Loma Vista Drive).
They have a fossil studio featuring fossils from Fossil Lake next to Fossil Butte National Monument (a formation of Eocene Era fossil Fish, flora, fauna, bugs and birds). Severns runs tourist digs. The quarry is lake edge; one of only two lake edge quarries on the lake. Appointments insure your dig weather permitting, but they will take walk-ins, time and weather permitting.
Severns Studio features fossils from all locations on Fossil Lake in the Studio. Severns Studio & Fossil Quarry strives to supply the customers with the best product available.
