The felted western hats have won awards for the craftsmanship involved and have been described by judges as being superior. They custom make hats for customers or you can choose hats already made. They also process fiber from other alpaca ranches into felted western hats. The hats are sold in fine Western stores and also shipped around the country.

Big Horn Mountain Alpacas also sells alpaca products such as alpaca socks, gloves, sweaters and teddy bears made by other manufacturers. Alpaca fiber is 5 times warmer than wool, as soft as cashmere, durable, and machine washable, and hypoallergenic. Alpaca occurs naturally in 22 colors.
